Malaysia: Chocolate Gallery | Chin Swee Cave Temple

Day 2 in Malaysia.

Originally, we just planned for city tour around Kuala Lumpur.. but the night before there's a taxi driver who made a deal with us to bring us around the tourist spots nearby including Genting Highlands for only 150MYR. Since we are a group of 6, that amount wasn't bad at all. We find it very cheap though.

Gate of Royal Palace Istana Negara. On our way to Genting Highlands our driver drop us here for a photoshoot in the gate. Luckily, we tend to see the King (or I dont know what they call them) going out of the palace with the bunch of bodyguards on a black limousine. But, unfortunately, we have so many photobombers around the area.

Another stop is the Chocolate Gallery. It's just a chocolate store with different kinds of unique flavor. which is locally made from Malaysia, and you cant find it anywhere but in this store. We are not allowed to take photos of the products, but you can have a free taste as you get inside the store. I'm a chocolate lover and definitely their chocolate is a must try! They have weird kinds of chocolate which caught our attention (Chili Chocolate, Black Sesame, Tongkat Ali, Curry Chocolate.. really weird right?) we tried Chili Chocolate and Black Sesame. Surprisingly, I loved the Black Sesame and I wished I bought a lot for pasalubong. :D

Before you enter the store, they will give you a yellow sticker but I dont know what for. :p
And if you have to stick it on a pole they provide outside the store as long as you go out.

This is a 5year old pole with yellow stickers, they just changed the pole day before we visit the store so they just show us this photo with a bulk of stickers.

Our way of transportation to Genting Highlands, Cable Cars!! It is a 20min ride, the normal two way ticket ride is only 12MYR.  (i hope we have cable cars to Baguio and Sagada. :D)

We didn't plan anything in Genting Highlands so we don't have any idea where to go, and the driver told us that he will pick us at 3pm so we have to be at the Skyway Station on time. We searched for the nearest spot which is the Chin Swee Caves Temple.

There's a free bus ride to Chin Swee Caves Temple, but you have to wait every 15min for the arrival of the bus and take the long queue.

Chin Swee Caves Temple

I was in awe as soon as we enter the temple, it was my first time to visit a place like this. That's why I fell in love more in Malaysia than Singapore because of these attractions, Very touristy, and it felt like you are really away from the city.
And of course, our mandatory pose. :)

I wish I could go back to Malaysia pretty soon. There's a lot of things I would like to explore about this country. The city may look a lot like Manila, but there more to discover if only we were given a long time to stay..
