Singapore 2016 - City Tour Day 1
As the saying goes.. "Who lives see, but who travel sees more"
In this travel, I had so many "first".
1. First out of the country trip (ofcourse Qatar is not part of a trip)
2. I was able to share the precious first journey with my love
3. First travel i'm not with any member of the Family
and a lot more that I coudn't list everything down.
And so, being a first timer to a unfamiliar place is what describes the word adventure. It's a 3-day trip to Singapore so i'm sharing First Day! (oh, its another first! lol.)
Day 1. Arrival, Finding the Hostel, City Tour - Marina Bay, Orchard Road
First few hours from the arrival, we make sure that we have maps and all the information we needed for the trip. We purchased the Singapore tourist pass or the EZ-Link for a 3-day unlimited ride of buses and trains which costs 30SGD (10SGD deposit which is refundable upon return of the pass) and tickets to our destination (Garden by the Bay and Universal Studios) from the Airport because it's cheaper compared to the Gate prices, We also bought a tourist simcard which has free internet for 5days for 18SGD. (and the big catch we can still use the simcard and free internet on our trip to Malaysia which we planned to stay for 2days!! wohoo.)
After we have freshen up, we are ready to go!
The trip wouldn't be complete without an outfit shot. Credits to Ate Mel for these shots.

We are a backpackers with a group of six! YES, six. So we decided to check in to a Hostel, on our first 2 nights we spent it at Mori Hostel which we booked from Agoda. (the staffs are very accommodating and friendly, I highly recommend this place)
We wanted for an adventure, so we did not make riding a taxi for an option but instead overuse our unlimited pass, being a first timers we were all not familiar of the place so thanks to google maps for letting us walk 100m under the hot humid weather.

While walking to the train station from Mori Hostel, we spotted this Temple but i'm not sure what exactly it is,
Orchard Road
The famous 1 dollar ice cream. So good and addicting. A must try!!
