Panay Island Tour: Boracay

The last Island on the list of our trip, BORACAY!!! Ofcourse, everone knows about Boracay.. Everyone is so fond of it. Beach party, water activities, good food, fine white sand.. who wouldn't love it right? I do love Boracay, but not as much as people are getting crazy with it. I love how it was 10-15yrs back, it was not crowded and not purely developed. You can still find it as a peaceful and relaxing place..

After all the secluded islands we've been to, we end up in the busy and crowded island of Boracay. It suppose to give us hype and energy because of the party place, colorful lights from the bar and restaurants but the opposite happened. It actually drained all our energy and give us a bad mood during the first night.. I think it somehow gave us culture shock because we came from different relaxing and calm place then suddenly the feels started to switched drastically to a rowdy place.

But then, Boracay is still Boracay. It still has its beauty that I can't explain why I still chose to visit this place even if I know what's going to expect from it..

Who wouldn't love the awesome sunset and colorful lanterns? It might sound cliché but it is really something to fell in love with..

One thing I hate about boracay, the natural beauty of the island is slowly fading. Little by little it is turning like a city because of the luxury hotels, fancy restaurants and other stuff city should offer. There was a big construction  when we were there, 1/8 of the trees were cut down just to build luxury hotel.. People are slowly killing the natural environment just for business.

And of course! Never say no to Boracay night party!! I'm no longer a party girl since 2012. I never tasted alcohol from bars since that year. I thought I'm too old for parties and clubs. But night life is still different in Boracay! Forget about the high heels, full make up and skimpy dresses. Party with friends, dance all night wearing your bikinis with flipflops are the best!

It was not the perfect boracay experience but still the time spent in the island was the most memorable. As long as with your friends and love ones everything is perfect! :)
